This is a subject matter that a wise professional would be wise to veer away from if he does not want his credibility and reputation to be brought to question.
However, the presenters of this workshop feel that there is an implicate relevance for both the professional and the lay person, that such a continuing stance of:
1. heads in the sand
2. denial
will not do.
History of the problem with Past Lives:
In the West, its orthodox religion has tried its best to stamp out the belief in past lives and re-incarnation, except on the Day of the Resurrection.
However, the evidence is that this attempt seems to have failed. From our inquires, we now conclude that of every 10, some 7 believe that they have lived before! We have also found that this belief is deep-seated and unshakeable. We also found out that they do not talk to other people about this matter. However, if the occasions arises, they will stand and be counted that they do subscribe to having lived before.
These people have grown up in silence about what they believe to be a truth about themselves. They have also grown up in an environment that completely dismisses them, sometimes in the most disparaging of ways.
How then is it possible that they’re so many people in our midst who believe that they have lived before?
And if they have, what has it got to do with anything anyway?
Well, from the clinical work of Jennifer K. Smith Chong has come this axiom:
There can be for some, current life problems that can
never be solved unless a past life issue is settled!
Past Life Believers:
It might be best to bear in mind that there are:
1. over 1 billion Buddhists who believe in Past Lives
2. over 1 billion Hindus who believe in Past Lives
3. if our estimate is correct, nearly a billion Christians also do
4. probably close to a billion Moslems who do, if the pattern is the same as that of the Christians.
Goals of this seminar:
They are to:
1. update you about this phenomenon and the current knowledge base about it
2. to show to you the spontaneity and unsolicited nature of it
3. index to you the strength and congruency in those who believe that they have lived before
4. advise you the consequences it has to the field of therapy
5. what it carries for those who have lived before.

Dennis K. Chong and Jennifer K. Smith Chong have co-shared a practice in Psychotherapy and Hypnotherapy.
The phenomenon of Past Lives emerged out of Jennifer’s work in Hypnotherapy. All such events occurred spontaneously. From the data that she got, Dennis and Jennifer examined the phenomenon. In turn they were forced to the conclusion that there are certain current life problems that will come before a therapist that can never be resolved unless a Past Life issue has been settled.
The principal work on Hypnosis is their work, The Knife Without Pain. This work has its:
